DESCRIPTION
Douglas Laboratories® Vitamin C provides 1,000 mg of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) per tablet to support immune health, collagen production, antioxidant defense, and connective tissue repair.

Vitamin C is one of the most essential and versatile nutrients in the human body, with roles in:

  • Collagen & Tissue Support – Necessary for collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, vitamin C is critical for the structure of skin, blood vessels, tendons, cartilage, and bone. It also supports normal wound healing and capillary integrity.

  • Powerful Antioxidant Protection – As a water-soluble antioxidant, vitamin C helps neutralize harmful free radicals, protecting lipids, LDL cholesterol, and body tissues from oxidative damage.

  • Immune System Support – Vitamin C is vital for a healthy immune response, especially during periods of physical stress, illness, or infection.

  • Synergy with Other Antioxidants – Works in harmony with glutathione, alpha-lipoic acid, and vitamin E, helping regenerate and extend their protective activity.

FORMULA
Each tablet contains:

  • Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) … 1,000 mg

Other Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, vegetable stearate, stearic acid, coating (hypromellose, glycerin), silica.

SUGGESTED USE
Adults: Take 1 tablet daily with a meal, or as directed by a healthcare professional.

SIDE EFFECTS
High doses of vitamin C at one time may cause digestive discomfort or diarrhea.
